SPICED FRUIT GRANOLA 3 1/2 cups regular
or quick-cooking rolled oats In a large bowl, combine the oats, walnuts, coconut, almonds, wheat germ, seeds, cinnamon, and cloves. In a small bowl, stir together the oil, honey, and orange peel; pour over oat mixture and blend thoroughly. Spread evenly in a 10- by 15-inch jelly-roll pan. Bake, uncovered, in a 200 degree oven, stirring occasionally, for 55 to 60 minutes, or until lightly toasted. Cool completely, then stir in raisins and apricot. Makes about 8 1/2 to 9 cups. |
